Job Description
Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. is looking for a motivated individual to join our growing stores team.
This is a trainee position designed for someone with an interest in farming, agricultural machinery or engineering who wants to build a long-term career in the agricultural machinery industry.
No previous parts experience is required. Full training will be provided.

Kildare, we design, manufacture and support machinery used by farmers and contractors throughout Ireland and overseas.
What You will Learn:

Agricultural machinery parts identification

Stock control and inventory management
-
Goods receiving and supplier deliveries

Picking and preparing workshop and customer orders

Operating our computerised parts management system
-
Serving customers at the trade counter
-
Assisting customers over the telephone
-
Working alongside our manufacturing, engineering and service teams
Your Responsibilities

Receive and organise incoming deliveries
-
Store parts accurately and maintain stock levels
-
Pick parts for production, service and customer orders
-
Pack and prepare parcels for dispatch
-
Assist farmers and contractors at the trade counter

Answer customer telephone enquiries

Keep the stores organised, clean and efficient

Support the Purchasing & Stores Manager with day-to-day operations
We are Looking for Someone who:
-
Has an interest in farming, agricultural machinery or engineering
-
Is practical, organised and eager to learn

Enjoys working as part of a team
-
Has good communication skills
-
Is reliable and motivated
-
Wants to develop a long-term career within the agricultural machinery industry
Experience in farming, agricultural engineering or machinery is an advantage but not essential.
