Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. are currently seekingTechnical Fitters. This is a full time position and is based at the Cross factory in Rathangan Co.Kildare.

About the Company: Cross is a leading Engineering company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of Farm, Biogas, commercial, and food processing machinery. We run a fleet of service vans to service our machines during the busy seasons of harvest. Both Beet and Grain harvest.

What is a Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitter

The Job is split between 50% work at the Cross factory and 50% out in the service van during the harvest months. 
Service duties in the van include:
-Change bearings, belts, pulleys, etc. on Grain Dryers & Beet Washers
-Carry out full services on Grain Dryers & Beet Washers
-Install new Grain Dryers & Beet Washers on farms
-Change electrical components on the machines
-Assemble new machines that are imported before going to the farm.

Requirements: 

• Qualification in Fitting or similar

• Qualification in Mechanics or similar

• Qualification in Engineering or similar
