Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. are currently seeking full time metal fabricators to work as part of our expanding team at the Cross Factory in Rathangan,Co.Kildare.

About the Company: Cross is a leading engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacturing of farm, biogas, commercial and food processing machinery. Currently there are 50 staff working in a state of the art factory and each staff member is given his/her own dedicated work bay. 

​

About the Job: Full time metal fabricators are required to fill positions in the Cross factory. Qualification is a bonus but not essential. Staff must have at least 2 years full time experience in metal fabrication.

Main Tasks and Duty:

• Fabricate machine components according to Engineering Drawings

• Operate the break press, guillotine, iron worker, and other factory machines. 

• Weld components according to weld assembly drawings. 

• Inspect finished products after manufacturing before they are sent for painting

​Pay: This will be discussed at the interview stage.

​Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Good communication skills

• Ability to read manufacturing drawings 

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Must have at least 2 years metal fabrication experience. 

• Qualified papers are a bonus but not essential.
