Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. are currently seeking a Stores Person

About the Company: Cross is a leading Engineering company who specialize in the design and manufacturing of farm, biogas, commercial and food processing machinery. We offer a top of the range service as standard to all our customers, this is a result of dedicated planning and design work which will continue with the successful candidate. Currently there are 40 staff working in a state of the art factory. Cross have an in house spare parts department,  which supplies parts to our customers all over the world and to the factory for manufacturing. Cross also run an online store for farmers to purchase items for next day delivery.

About the Job:
-Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases at the trade counter.
-Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock replenishment and stocktaking.
-Packaging and preparing parts orders for dispatch.
-Process sales transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system and ensure accurate billing 
-Load and unload lorries

Requirements:
-Strong interest in farm machinery or a willingness to learn about agricultural products.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Basic computer skills 
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 

 

This role is a trainee role and the successful candidate will be trained up to run our online store and take part in the purchasing team.
